Dolby Atmos Surround Sound

The 5th generation Lenovo X1 Yoga features an advanced Dolby Atmos Surround sound system. The two upper speakers next to the keyboard have two woofers facing downwards at the bottom of the device. This way you get an immersive and unique sound experience all around you. Plus, four 360-degree microphones cancel out unwanted noise during calls and pick up your voice from across the room so you can use voice activation to activate the system, play music and more.

Keep your business data and privacy safe with the 5th generation X1 Yoga laptop’s full suite of ThinkShield security features. dTPM (discrete Trusted Platform Module) technology encrypts data and works in conjunction with Windows 10 Pro security. ThinkShutter is a physical camera cover that blocks the lens to ensure you are only seen when you want to be seen. Plus, the optional fingerprint reader uses biometrics so you can log in with a simple tap.

For your eyes only

As part of ThinkShield security, we offer a combination of hardware and software that work together to ensure what you see on your screen is for your eyes only. PrivacyGuard is an electronic privacy filter built into your system that reduces theview of your screen so that only your eyes, when you are looking straight ahead, can see the content. Everyone else sees a dark screen. PrivacyAlert* is integrated software that works with the IR camera to ensure that a pop-up message is displayed to notify you of a potential threat when prying eyes are present.
